Accounts and data
Members and roles, billing per site, adding and removing sites, email settings, and what SEOgent stores and which services it uses.
Your account
An account holds your sites, your team and your plan. Everyone in the account sees and works on all of its sites.
There are two roles:
| Admin | Member | |
|---|---|---|
| Use every part of SEOgent on every site | ✓ | ✓ |
| Change a site’s settings, keywords and voice | ✓ | ✓ |
| Connect Google accounts, Search Console, GA4 or Plausible | ✓ | |
| Create and revoke agent tokens | ✓ | |
| Invite, remove and change members | ✓ | |
| Manage billing, and add or delete sites | ✓ | |
| Delete the whole account | ✓ |
Whoever creates the account is its first admin.
Inviting your team
Under Settings → Account → Members, enter a name, email and role, then click Invite. They get an email with a link to choose their password. If it expires, use Resend invite, or they can use “Forgot password” with the same email address. Remove stops someone signing in straight away. You can’t change your own role or remove yourself, so ask another admin.
Your profile and security
- Settings → Profile: your name, email, time zone and whether you get the weekly briefing email. Changing your email means verifying the new address.
- Settings → Security: your password, two-factor authentication and passkeys.
Deleting your login or the account
- Delete your login (Settings → Profile) removes just you and signs you out. The account, its sites and data stay for the rest of your team. If you’re the account’s only admin, make someone else an admin first, or delete the whole account.
- Delete account (Settings → Account, admins only) is for everyone. The subscription is cancelled straight away, and every site, its data and every member’s login are deleted.
Deleted something by mistake? Accounts, logins and sites can be restored for 90 days: email [email protected]. After that they’re deleted for good.
Billing
SEOgent is priced per site, with as many people as you like. Billing is handled by Stripe, under Settings → Billing.
- Start plan opens Stripe’s checkout. Once payment is confirmed, you go straight to setting up your site.
- Add a site adds one to your plan. You’re charged for the rest of this month straight away, and then setup opens for the new site.
- Remove an unused site takes one off your plan, crediting the unused time on your next invoice. Delete the site first under Settings → Sites.
- Manage billing opens Stripe, where you can change your card, download invoices, or cancel.
If a plan lapses
If your plan is cancelled, or a payment fails, SEOgent shows the billing page until it’s sorted out. Scheduled crawls, checks and briefings pause, and agent tokens stop working. Your data is kept, so everything picks up again when the plan restarts. A cancelled plan keeps running until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you can resume it under Manage billing before then.
Sites
Each site has its own Search Console property, analytics, settings and monthly allowances. Switch between sites with the switcher at the top of the sidebar. Add a site starts the same guided setup as your first.
To delete a site, an admin goes to Settings → Sites and types the domain to confirm. This deletes everything SEOgent has for it: its crawl, rankings, reports, articles, AI visibility history and agent tokens. It can be restored for 90 days by emailing us, then it’s gone for good. Deleting a site doesn’t change your plan, so remove it under Billing too if you won’t replace it.
Google accounts
SEOgent reads Search Console and GA4 through the Google logins an admin connects. They belong to the account, so one login can serve several sites, and each site uses one of them.
Settings → Sites → Google accounts lists every connected login and the sites that use it. Connect a Google account adds another. To switch a site to a different login, edit the site and choose it under Google account, then pick its Search Console and GA4 properties.
Disconnect tells Google to forget the login. Sites that used it stop updating Search Console and GA4 until you give them another.
A login can stop working when access is removed in your Google account, the password changes, or it goes unused for six months. When that happens, admins get an email, the login shows Stopped working and the affected sites stop updating. Click Reconnect and sign in again. Nothing is lost: reconnecting fills in the last 90 days.
Monthly allowances
Each site has a monthly AI allowance, shown in tokens under Settings → Sites → AI usage and shared by everyone in the account. Briefings, fix plans, drafts and chat all draw on it. If it runs out, AI work waits until it resets on the 1st.
Your data
What SEOgent reads. Search Console and GA4 are read through the Google login you connect, with read-only permission, so SEOgent can’t change anything in your Google properties. It keeps a token from Google to stay connected, stored encrypted. You can remove access at any time by disconnecting in Settings → Sites, or from your Google Account under Security → Third-party connections. If you use Plausible, your Stats API key is also stored encrypted.
What it stores, per site:
- Search Console clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position by day, search and page
- Analytics visits, landing pages and channels by day
- Crawl results for each page, its scores and its index status
- Issues, action items, fix plans, weekly briefings and the Content Plan
- Keyword data, competitor rankings, and AI assistants’ answers to your tracked questions
- Chat conversations
Services SEOgent uses:
| Service | What for |
|---|---|

| DataForSEO | Keyword research, rankings, competitor data, search results and AI assistants’ answers |
| Search Console, Analytics and PageSpeed Insights | |
